Ok i'm HOOOMMMEE! haha. for this post, i'm going to talk about korea. i went there with my family plus god-parents. just came back yesterday. it's definately going to be hard to include EVERYTHING into this post so i'll just be talking about the main parts i rmb best.
FOOD
ok, this is a definate part of the holiday i will surely remember. How they eat usually comes afew small cold dishes called kimchiandotherstuffwhichidontgiveadamnbecauseiusuallydunlikethem. these are served first. Next, the main dish comes, and thank God its not cold... its usually noodle or rice. sometimes i put those cold dishes into the main dish to make them hot. there were barbecue, steamboats, and individual dishes as well. do look at the pics of us enjoying food. try not to get too hungry. try ah...
the raw seafood were seriously fresh, so fresh that i can swear the sotong tenticles and the part of the fishes not cut off were still moving. its like you can taste some sea water flavour but somehow its still very nice. then later they cooked the fish heads in the steamboat and whatever raw meat not eaten was put in the steamboat. there was also one dish of the chicken and soup thing (shown above), but there is rice inside the chicken. interesing eh?
SKIING
skiing is fun! don't know is it because you can't do it in singapore or what, but its really good! if you have the chance, try it! first day of skiing, we went to learn first, then the following days we were on our own. the pics here are us with our ski teacher person, j and myself. its more fun than it looks. haha, notice us wearing that thing on our heads... the after-ski-hair is something you may find interesting too. gear wise, the shoes are like super ankle protection robocop shoes man!
Lotte World
Theme park. many people were there! however, due to what they called "bad" weather, most of the outdoor rides and stuff were closed that day. hence, we could only play indoor one. funny characters, shows, rides, games and stuff... even got parade! nice place to go and play. lazy to upload many pics already.
Guitar Shop
haha! i knew i couldn't resist this. after not touching a six string thing for a week, i was happy when we arrived at this place! here is like a building just selling musical instruments and all that. i got an ibanez yes, i'll talk about it some other time... bought from this particular shop and pics are shown below. lem! no fender 5-string marcus miller model there, but the basses picture i took specially for you. haha!
that's about all i want to say lah. want to know more, go there yourself. but find, althought the countryside there are less ppl and all that, the people are much better than in the city. cos in the city it's like most people dun really give a damn about anything. stupid attitude problems all over the place... so it's like every man for himself! or woman for herself... other than that, it was cold. so cold that it snowed on the day we left. there are more pics for sure but due to laziness/no time/no space/all 3 reasons, i wun put anymore up la. have fun!
